The Green Toilet Light is a urine-separating dry toilet suitable for both outhouses and indoor spaces. It features a soft thermal seat for comfort even in cold environments and is easy to install directly on the floor. With a durable, no-moving-parts design, it ensures reliability and hassle-free use.
Green Toilet Light is a urine separating dry toilet that fits in many use cases. The Light separates urine from solids with a two-fold seat design in which all urine naturally hits the front bowl whereas the solids drop through the back into a solids chamber. Thanks to the separation, the Green Toilet Light is odorless and pleasant to use. Green Toilet Light has a sturdy, robust structure without any moving parts that would break in use.
The Light is a great choise in particular for family use e.g. in a summer cottage or a holiday home. Majority of the toilet waste is urine and when it is separated, there is not much solid waste to compost even in high use volume.
The Green Toilet Light can well be used both in an outhouse or indoors. The Light has a comfy thermal seat which is nice to sit on even if the toilet space is cold. When installed indoors, there is an electric duct fan sold separately that is to ensure odorless use at all times.
Green Toilet Light is used seated. When seated, urine will naturally hit the front bowl of the toilet while the solids drop through the back part into a solids chamber. Toilet paper is also put into the solids chamber. Use of other dry material or bulking agent is not mandatory, but allowed.
Note! For men there is a waterless urinal available that can be used to urinate while standing.
Green Toilet Light is serviced from the back where it has a detachable back wall. To empty the toilet, you simply need to pull off the back wall and get the solids chamber out. The chamber has a lid which makes it easy to carry out for emptying. From a urine separating toilet, the solids can be composted in a composter that has a lid, like for example the Green Composter 330 for Toilet Waste.
All Green Toilet dry toilets come with a 10-year frame/structure warranty.

Can Green Toilet Light be used in a cold space?
Yes you can. The Green Toilet Light has a nice warm thermal seat which is pleasant to sit on even in cold outhouse or room. Just make sure the urine hose flows downwards so that it will not freeze and get blocked.
How the Green Toilet Light is installed?
When installed into an outhouse, you can make a hole to the back wall of your outhouse through which the Green Toilet Light is pushed on its place.
The Green Toilet Light has ready marked spots for the liquid hose and ventilation pipes on both sides of the dry toilet, so you can choose the side according to your needs.
When installed indoors, you do not need to make a hole through your house. Instead, the service can be done inside by pulling the Green Toilet Light off its place.

How should I manage the solid waste?
We recommend composting the solid toilet waste in a composter that has lid along together other garden waste. Suitable composting period is from 12 to 18 months depending on climate and other circumstances.
What should I do with the urine?
Sterile urine is highly nutritious and therefore it should not get into water areas nor point load any environment. Thus we recommend collecting the urine in to a urine canister from where it is easy to dilute with water and spread around trees, bushes and other plants that can benefit from the nutrients of urine.
Green Toilet Light is separated: in the front there is a urine bowl that automatically leads urine to the liquid hose. From the back, solid waste and toilet paper are collected to a waste bin.
This separation of solids and liquid helps the service and prevents any unpleasant odor.
Green Toilet Light is serviced from the back of the outhouse. The back door can be opened without any tools and the waste bin can be taken out.
This structure allows installation to many kind of spaces where a service hole can be made to the outer wall.
