For the proper functioning of dry toilets, one of the most important features is the correct operation of the ventilation. In this case, the airflow from the toilet should always be directed outward and carry any potential odors from the toilet out through the ventilation pipe. Especially in indoor installations, if possible, it is advisable to ensure ventilation with an electric fan.
