Is a foundation or platform always required under the outhouse?
Not necessarily. In most cases, a simple block foundation is sufficient. However, a raised base can be useful, especially if you choose a bench seat and a Green Toilet 120 Family toilet, or if the terrain behind the outhouse is level or sloping upward.
How is the Sopu Outhouse delivered?
The product is delivered via pallet freight to the nearest accessible roadside. Delivery time for abroad orders is approximately 1-3 weeks. Shipping is not included in the product price and is calculated at checkout.

Solid wall construction
The Sopu outhouse is built from dense-grained Finnish timber with a panel thickness of 20 mm.
The prefabricated elements are easy to handle during assembly, yet strong and durable for long-term use.
Natural light enters the outhouse through the charming window in the door, which comes as standard on all Sopu and Naava models. If you’d like even more daylight inside, an optional side window can be added and installed on either side during assembly.
The window material is clear plexiglass.
Base is sometimes needed
In most cases, a standard concrete block foundation is sufficient for an outhouse. However, in some situations additional elevation may be required. For the Sopu and Naava outhouses, a pressure-treated wooden base with two steps is available as an optional accessory.
This is especially useful when using the bench seat configuration with the Green Toilet 120 system, particularly if the ground is completely level or slopes upward toward the outhouse.
