Is the Sopu Outhouse delivered assembled or as a kit?

Sopu Outhouse is delivered as ready-made wooden elements, so it is assembled on-site. The package includes all assembly materials, screws, fittings, and illustrated instructions to make installation easy.

Is the Sopu Outhouse pre-painted?

No. The wooden parts are delivered untreated, allowing you to finish and paint the outhouse to match its surroundings.

What size is the Sopu Outhouse?

The floor dimensions of the Sopu Outhouse are 128 x 119 cm, and the height from the roof ridge is approximately 240 cm without a base. It offers comfortable interior space while still fitting well in a typical cabin yard.

What material is the Sopu Outhouse made of?

Sopu Outhouse is made from Finnish softwood, with a panel thickness of 20 mm. The base is made of pressure-treated wood, adding durability to the structure.

Does the outhouse include a window?

Yes. A door window is included as standard in Sopu models. Additionally, a side window can be selected as an extra option and installed on either side during assembly. The window material is clear plexiglass.

Can the Sopu Outhouse be selected with different floor options?

Yes. You can choose between a flat floor and a bench seat. The floor option depends on the type of dry toilet you plan to install.

Which dry toilets are compatible with the Sopu Outhouse?

Compatible options for the flat floor version are Green Toilet 100 Easy and Green Toilet Light. For the bench seat version, the compatible option is Green Toilet 120 Family.

Are roofing materials included?

You can choose to include roofing materials as an optional add-on, including roofing felt and drip edge flashings.

Is a foundation or platform always required under the outhouse?

Not necessarily. In most cases, a simple block foundation is sufficient. However, a raised base can be useful, especially if you choose a bench seat and a Green Toilet 120 Family toilet, or if the terrain behind the outhouse is level or sloping upward.

Is there a discount on a dry toilet when purchasing the outhouse?

How is the Sopu Outhouse delivered? What is the delivery time?

The product is delivered via pallet freight to the nearest accessible roadside. Delivery time for abroad orders is approximately 1-3 weeks. Shipping is not included in the product price and is calculated at checkout.

You can also place a pre-order for the Sopu Outhouse and arrange delivery for a later date. The palletized package is well protected against the weather, so it can, if necessary, be stored outdoors while waiting for assembly.
