Winter shield for Johanna Composter

This winter shield for Johanna Composter protects the compost from freezing during the cold winter. At summertime, the winter shield can effortlessly be removed from the Johanna Composter. 

The idea of Johanna Composter is that you can take the winter shield off for summer. Thus, it is not possible that the temperature inside the compost would get too high and kill the microbes. On the other hand, during winter, the shield helps the compost mass store warmth and keep up the composting process.
