Wind-driven ventilator Ecoplast

A lightweight plastic wind‑driven ventilator spins readily in the wind, enhancing air circulation in off‑grid locations such as outhouses, toilets, cellars, and sheds. It maintains the correct airflow direction, reduces odors, and promotes the evaporation of moisture and liquids, which also boosts composting.

Fits to a 110 mm pipe.

Description

The wind‑powered ventilator works by means of a lightweight rotor that spins freely in the breeze, creating suction in the vent pipe. The latest version is molded from light plastic, making it sensitive enough to turn even in weaker winds. It is ideal for off‑grid locations—such as outhouses, toilets, cellars, and sheds—to improve ventilation and remove moisture.

If a dry toilet suffers from odors or excess humidity, the wind ventilator can be an effective solution. It keeps airflow moving in the correct direction and speeds up liquid evaporation. Efficient removal of moisture from a bedding‑ or compost‑based toilet also promotes waste composting.

The ventilator is supplied with a 110 mm → 100 mm reducer so it can be fitted inside a 110 mm pipe. (A separate reducer is required for 75 mm pipe.)
