The gable-roofed Sopu Outhouse blends beautifully into a traditional Finnish cottage landscape. Built from sturdy solid timber, its prefabricated panel construction makes assembly quick and straightforward. The Sopu wooden outhouse is spacious, and its dimensions have been specifically designed to fit Green Toilet composting toilet systems perfectly.

Solid wall construction
The Sopu outhouse is built from dense-grained Finnish timber with a panel thickness of 20 mm.
The prefabricated elements are easy to handle during assembly, yet strong and durable for long-term use.
Natural light enters the outhouse through the charming window in the door, which comes as standard on all Sopu and Naava models. If you’d like even more daylight inside, an optional side window can be added and installed on either side during assembly.
The window material is clear plexiglass.
Base is sometimes needed
In most cases, a standard concrete block foundation is sufficient for an outhouse. However, in some situations additional elevation may be required. For the Sopu and Naava outhouses, a pressure-treated wooden base with two steps is available as an optional accessory.
This is especially useful when using the bench seat configuration with the Green Toilet 120 system, particularly if the ground is completely level or slopes upward toward the outhouse.
