Self-adjusting frost protection cable
A high-quality frost protection cable that prevents freezing in a range of applications, such as composters and grey water filters. Available in several lengths.
Description
DunWore’s self-regulating heating cable protects against freezing and cracking, for example:
- water pipes and water meters
- eaves, gutters and downpipes
- rainwater drains and sewers
- grey water filters
- composters
- dry toilets
Please note that dry toilets, wastewater filters and composters can usually withstand freezing without structural damage, but a self-regulating heating cable is often needed in order to use them during winter.
Self-regulating operation – no separate thermostat needed
The heating cable has self-regulating control that increases the heating output before the freezing point is reached and gradually reduces the output once a safe temperature has been reached. The cable cannot overheat, because it regulates itself according to the ambient temperature of its operating environment. No separate thermostat is required.
Ready to use out of the box
The cable is ready to use immediately: simply fasten it in place and plug it into a socket. The cable’s outer sheath is made of durable and safe fluoropolymer.
